According to the popular Japanese blog Macotakara, the new iPad 3 is already in production and Apple is expected to launch its next-generation iPad by early March. According to the report, Foxconn and Pegatron are currently manufacturing the iPad 3. Foxconn is responsible for 85% of the supplies of the iPad 3.
According to Chinese source, Foxconn Technology and Pegatron Technology started next generation of iPad assembly with Foxconn bearing 85% and Pegatron taking 15% of the production load like as iPhone 4S. Accelerated schedule is made possible by earlier Chinese New Year festival, 23rd-28th January.

The report says that Sharp is manufacturing the iPad 3′s displays. There’s nothing more the report says about the iPad 3 design or display.
Another report few days ago claimed that Apple will launch the iPad 3 on February 24, 2012 in honor of Steve Jobs’ birthday.
As a side note, we’ve previously told you that there has been some settings in iOS 5.1 beta 3 which confirms that Apple is working on siri for iPad 3.
